Kel's leaving
Sunday, December 31
Seriously, I am not too sure if it was because I am going home. So, all the emo-ing begins or if it was for... ...
Kel is relocating to Melbourne.
I didn’t organize any going-away-party because all my uni mates would be appearing on Kel’s party anyway, and the rest have already made arrangements with me.
The sad thing is, the more you see people, the harder it is for you to leave. So, I prefer to exit quietly.
Bittersweet memories, it was.

For it was yesterday that brings today. My Retro birthday bash '05, was a blast! I had the whole bar to myself!
Finger food. Great tunes. Tinkering wine glasses. Slamming beer mugs. Shots are also the rigeur. Fabulous people. Cheery laughter.

Turning a year older, hopefully wiser hur! As it was kinda roller coaster ride for me, I felt as though I have gone through so much for this year (+ 1 years old).
Lots of emotional flunctuations - extreme happiness when I was lifted to the peak.... then, gravity sucks me down forcefully and I fell all the way, right to the bottom and the cycle repeats itself.
Looking at the transition..... gosh, I am really getting older. *shake head*
No big plans. Nothing huge on my birthday. I just wanted something very simple, so I had a series of lunch dates at work (throughout the week), followed by a small celebration with my dearlies on my birthday.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!

Bonding session in Brisy!
Thursday, December 28
I HEART BRISBANE!!!
I wouldn't mind to go there over and over again! Last year I have been to Gold Coast & Surfers Paradise. This year... my plan is to comb brisy!
Yes, I travelled alone (again).
But, I guessed it didn't matter because I trust that I will be well received!
Actually, this trip was more like a bonding session for me and my secondary school mates! Isn't it amazing that we used to wear the same school uniform, see each other in our cuckoo hairdo, mock at each other when we get punished, but now... ...
That is the importance of catching up.
I arrived in Brisbane at 11-ish. Curry was my late night supper. The next day meant rising (relatively) bright and early at 1pm!!!! HOLY CRAP!
All because of the late night chats, and that actually continued for the next 2 days.
oh man, my Body clock was totally screwed!!! - anyway, who cares about dark eye bags when you have got great companion!
DAY 1 was more like zombie-ing around. Waited for them to finish class. Loitered around the city like an illegal gathering of school kids. Starbucks coffee. But hey! It was pretty fun to do things that you used to do when you were little!
While I was enjoying the companion of my good ol' friends, I made new friends too!
Introducing... ....
Day 2 was a bit more normal... but still, I was the only one found sleeping in the hostel when all the kids have gone to uni!!!

They also showed me around the campus of UQ and it was so huge that they even have a boat station within the Uni! Seriously, if I were to study in Brisy, I would NEVER graduate in sucha funfilled environment!

Big love to you guys for having me!
Your Timely Reminder
Saturday, October 28
I have been trying to post this up for ages and it says "error".
WAT THE??!!!
Anyway, nothing can upset me now.
All bad things have come to an end and you know... I have been promoted*~*!!!!
Only 9 months in the Graduate Role & I am done!!! *YEY!!!*
I am an OCTOBER BABY, loves the sun and guessed what...
*Correction: We are only OBSERVING SUMMER TIME. We are still in Spring.
So, as of 29 october, I am 2.5Hours ahead of SG Time!
Which means, my birthday marks the start date for Daylight Savings/Summer Time!
(For those of you who aren't familiar with Daylight Savings, it refers to turning our clocks forward for an hour, to promote the longer use of daylight in certain months of the year)
BoohooOO... LOSE ONE HOUR to sleep(!!!)
but
I have got the SUN back!! WooHOOO
Good/Bad?
You DECIDE.

Mate, October is certainly my favourite time of the year. So far, so GOOD!!!
l SUMMER TIME, BABY!!! l
Sometime ago I took up Golf tution and mastered the basics of the swinging action! No progress after the series of tution because winter was just too cold to do anything and spring has got too much wind!!

(That's my first lesson!! I was struggling so hard to get my posture right)

Walking on Sunshine
Friday, October 20
After everyone has had a few months of VCD/DVD/TV weather and the cold has probably kept them inside for too long ... ....
SPRING HAS SPRUNG!!!
m ITS SPRING TIME!!! m
The sun pops up on the horizon. It comes to us like a warm fuzzy glow in the middle of a desolate and sometimes boring in-between-season!
(Although, it was suppose to be spring but we still get freaking chilly days, especially at nite. I suppose it is still within the transition period into Spring.)
Therefore, I am really hype up about the sun.
OH GLORIOUS SUN!
Since we had been blessed with such a gorgeous weather, it is then our honourable duty to make FULL USE OF IT!!!
As such, we happily ditched our coats and spent a day at the Botanic Park!
Not long later, the sun was burning our skin and we are turning red. So, Stefi's family taught me to be sun smart.
For Kenny and Yvonne (Paige's friend), who are both in Darwin.
But you said you have to go.
And, it makes me feel like crying.
I waited (and is still waiting)... ..
Till all the flowers withered
And this Spring, they can't blossom again
Not only are the roses beautiful, their names were very unique too. Here's a few to show:
Here's my favourite Photo!!! The flowers are so pretty!
I heart my tee.
I heart my tulip shorts.
The sky was cloud-less!! See... see... see...
Under 1 Roof
Saturday, October 14
... was a blast!
(If not, I would probably ransack his cupboard for instant noodles! *gulp)
However, the main emphasis of this post is not Adrian's birthday... but his place. It just occured to me that I have to show you how special his place is!!!
Many of you reckon that living with your mates is cool, but... ... honestly, IT IS NOT ALWAYS THE CASE! All of us are brought up differently and therefore, we have different living habits - not forgetting to mention personality. While it is hard to avoid friction in your family, imagine what is going to happen when you live with your friends or worse, strangers! I have a very good example of a very tidy person VS a group of less tidy people.
*WAVES* SUE-ANN & WENDY YOU MUST READ THIS!!!
Since the two of you have left, there has been a MAJOR REVAMP ON HOUSE RULES!!! Both of you should really see it. For my friends who have tough house mates, read on!!!
If they think cleaning fairies exists... you should have this:
If they do not make use of shoe racks and have one million pairs of shoes each....
If you have a dripping tap and yes... we all know....
Tots on a still Night
Sunday, October 8
*TWO THUMBS UP*
We were so bloated after dinner because food was excellant!
Night falls pretty soon after dinner and we began PART 2 of our Mooncake Festival Celebration!!
We were playing like a bunch of kids, lighting up lanterns in the garden and Paige don't mean to scare us. She just wanted to parade around with her lantern.
But carrying red lanterns at night is indeed VERY SCARY!!!! I am glad that not long after, the moonlight lit up the spooky cloak of darkness! So does our lanterns!!!
Definitely soaking ourselves up in the uber fun atmosphere!
Singing: The More We Get together, together, together. The more we get together THE MERRIER WE"LL BE!!! **
However, I feel bad for those of you who are affected by haze. If that has deprived you from enjoying the moonlight, you can enjoy it here (see below). HAHAHA
*WAVES TO SU-ANN*
Alritey! As most of us were shivering in cold... we decided to snap a few shots, hurry into the house and proceed with PART 3!
Courtesy of Paige, so I get to taste a few types of MOONCAKE!!! MMMmmm.... I love the ones with YAM fillings (!!) and the ones with yolks too!!
"HOW EXCITING" - *LOL*
Hmmmm... Let's see..
Get together & Have Dinner - checked
Play Lantern - checked
Eat Mooncake - checked
Drink Tea - checked
Recite poems - checked (*jaw dropped)
Enjoy the Full Moon - checked
What else have we missed out?

my S.E.P.T.E.M.B.E.R
Tuesday, October 3
I have 3 days in the office and the other 2 spent in Uni - that is the main reason for all the I-rather-kill-myself-shit, than being-put-to-hell.
Well, it ain't all that bad here, because my colleague buys me Freddo Chocolate at 3pm. (Who else, but T!!!)
My second bit of work is like: I stare at the ceiling. The ceiling returned my stare. I sunk my head into the thick handouts and the financial reports are still, unsinkable.
Bugger it.
I hate financial reporting. The lecturer talk sense, but the numbers don't talk like him.
All work, no play?
I finally had my moment in Endota Spa on Rundle Street! A full body massage (that includes foot massage), clay wrap to the body and a facial. Leaving me with skin that glows from head to toe!
Let me also show you the WONDERS of Purchasing Power... or I should say, my early birthday treats!
