Finally it's SHOPPING TIME!

Last week I got my hair done. Ermm... I am still trying to nourish my hair with Portion9. Hoping that it'll get well soon, so I can perm it again or... colour it! WoohoooO!

In the meantime, I'll focus on stocking up for AUTUMN/ WINTER! (To divert my agony for my so called "bad hair")

Joan brought me to the SASS & BIDE SALE at Norwood!!!! I got a pair of jeans at a very good price! There were a couple of other stuffs that looks cool but, I just have to refrain myself from spending too much on casual clothes. :(

I love faded washed jeans! Can't wait to wear my new jeans and I'll alter the length tml! Alter it with my very own sewing machine!

We also went back to the city to shop and we discovered LIVE! It was their first day of opening and... the clothes on their rack were selling like hotcakes! I bought a whitish fury cardigian for AUTUMN!!! Just could'nt help it when I lay my hands on it and it was the only XS! Wat a relieve!

Shopping makes us forget the time, forget that we are hungry, forget our worries, forget that we are tired... ... and I know... ... there'll be lots more shopping trips to come for me and Joan! There are so many similarities in us!!!

Well... well... finally we managed to make time for a get together! Daniel and Adrian used to stay in the same hostel as me, & we belong to 1 big gang! But as time passes, people come and go... the rest has left after they graduated. I have moved out too.

Thinking abt it... I kinda miss hostel life. The late nite crusing... drinking... clubbing... speeding!!!... crapping... etc. But the bad thing is that you don't get a lot of privacy thou and... u ve to put up with some untidy people who dirties the kitchen/ dun wash up their utensils!

I realised that ...

one needs to be very disciplined to hit back to the books as & when it is required to do so especially, when u stay in a hostel becos fun and academic results are inversely related.

whahahhaha.... think abt it. *wink*

Daniel was the one who introduced Marissa to me. Hmmm... Marissa has grown older... but not wiser WAHhhahaha. Daniel is a lot matured now (he is always matured despite of the dragon ball hair that he used to have hahahhaa) ME? I guessed.... seriously... my transformation is the greatest. In terms of outlook... mindset... ehhhh.... from crappy to crappier? Hahahaha I think I have to ask Marissa. Hmmm... no, I think she'll give me some stupid stuffs cos I said she din grow wiser. Wahahhahaha... Nanny nanny pooo pooo!!

We had our Yum Cha session at Chinatown... we ate so much & we became so bloated. MMmmmm... I love the stomach-going-to-burst feeling. I love Har-Gaws (prawn dumplings) too! Mmmmmm.... one of life's greatest joy is GOOD FOOD and if I have the time, I'll have Yum Cha session every weekend. MMmmmmm.... *shake head, with eyes close, very satisfied look* Soo Ling, Ah ma and especially Michelle would understand... :)

Worried that we'll suffer from indigestion, Daniel suggested to go see the Waterfalls! After all... we should relax on sunday. So, all of us drove up to Cleland Conservation Park - Waterfall Gully!

We attempted to climb to the top, but after 3 minutes... we turned back. OMG! Our tummies are too heavy! Then, we started planning to go hiking someday.. go Great Ocean Road Tour during Easter break bla..bla..bla..

I kept really quiet because, I can't commit now. I really want to swim with the dolpins but, it has been too cold lately. Also, the assignments deadlines are getting warmer... *pull hair* Assignments, stress, deadlines for work tasks doesnt gel very well for me.

Alritey! I think I had enuff of rollers and 30 mins of blow drying everyday. Maybe I should accept that fact that I have straight hair and I should learn to love them instead of putting their strength to tough test...

O' man.... I am torn between CURLS or, loving my hair the way they are.

Rollers is alrite, but troublesome. Blow drying is easy but... spending 30 mins a day, standing in front of the mirror is starting to w..e...a...r miiiii outttttt. So... I decided. Enuff is enuff!!! Time to head to the professionals at Toni & Guy for help!

I enjoy the way my stylist do my hair. He tries to give me something that I like. But as you know, when it comes to hair, there is a difference between

what you like,
what you want and
what you can have

so... he has to modify what I asked for, to suit my hair profile and of cos, to compliment my comical face. As he is a style director, he has this vision of what he wants to do for me. As I am the adventurous kind... of cos I'll leave it to him. But, I want my STUPID FRINGE. That is the only thing that I asked for. Which, as you can see... he did give it to me. HAhhaha

My stylist even took a sample of my hair to do a test on it. So, he'll tell me why my previous 2 perms was unsucessful at my next visit. Awwwhhhh.... I call that professional. Like a hair doctor. Hahahaha

I did a perm when I was back in Sg at Ginrich. But my hair doesn't look curly at all. They merely look like slight bends... so, I went back to Ginrich for a second perm. I know it is damaging but I need the saloon to fix up the mess. After the 2nd perm... my hair is not curly but there are some waves thou.

At that instant, I was dishearted... but I lived with it for 1 month before I went to Summer's stylist for intensive treatment because of the poor condition and that is also why I ditched my blonde highlights and go for a darker shade all over.

Dark hair makes your hair appears healthier than they are. *WINK*

I used to visit a saloon (here in aust) and my stylist is very good at doing highlights and colouring. That is why I made it a MUST VISIT place when Summer came over for my graduation. But, the haircut was just so-so. SSSShhhh. Now, I found the person who could give me a good cut!

Anyway, I always adopt the theory of HAIR WILL GROW BACK. Thou, bad hair can make me sulk for 10 mins. But it doesn't worry me too much. HAhahahaha... so, the next time you see me with some weird hair.. pls do not laugh. I, may not like it myself, but I just love to experiment with my hair. Wahhahahaha... and I am seriously addicted to it. Vain? Yes, vain. But, I am a girl after all!

Looks like ribbons all over! They look sexy! Yes... they look sexy, but not the owner. *LOL*

My stylist recommended me Sebastian Portion 9 to restore all the damage that I have done to my hair. He did so because I feel that there is a need to do something to my hair before they all turn against me and dry away... looking like a bay of hay. OMG. To me, that is worst than bad hair day!

So, now... I am trying to restore the radiance in my hair while waiting for my next experiment! *Wicked chuckle* :)

Going for K-session now! La... la... la... sing a love song for me!

I love BIG HAIR, MESSY HAIR, OUT OF BED Hair... because I like to see myself in volumised hair. Don't get me wrong, I don't mean BUSHY Hair. HAhahahha :)

As you know my curls are pathetic... more like slight bends than loose waves... So... ...

I put rollers on my fridge and the middle section on the crown of my head and I bundle the ends up.

Omg! It looks better than last nite. The worse thing is... this morning I am going to the temple with my friends. The first thing Kenny sees it was.... "WAH! Your hair is so happening!" Luckily the rest din say a thing. *relieve*

Ya... I know. More happening than last nite's... WAT A SHAME!!!!!!!!! (It's ok... I can dress up for buddha becos they bless me!) I knew that I'll overslept because I had such a late nite yesterday... soooo to minimise time for dressing up, I thought the best way is to sleep with rollers. Anyway, I can afford to experiment with my hair on weekends cos weekdays are just too risky... I don't want to scare my colleagues! WAHhahha... ...

But I realised one thing with big hair or curls.... make up is a MUST!!! Otherwise, you'll look haggard. Well, at least a lippy or loose powder. That's wat I do. :)

It was love at first sight... (one of those belt that u belt it under ur bust... the gold buckle and the gold bits makes it look so classy).

This is such a LONG Weekend. I guarantee, I will suffer post holiday depression on Tuesday!!!

Apart from WOMAD, hanging out with Seow Yee and Sarah... I was invited to be part of the MINI convoy to Port Elliot!!! I finally get to taste the reknowed Flying Fish cafe's Fish and chips. Mmmmmm... it was finger licking good!!!

The day begins at 9am with lots of MINI!!!! Including MINI ME!!! Yea... ME!!!

There were roughly 60 MINIs!!! The sporty ones.. the convertibles.. the new.. the old... almost all MINI owners participated! Wat an experience for me! I have a fair share of cruising experiences.... but something like that was just a brand new experience!

When we got to Port Eilliot... we had our Flying Fish's Fish n Chips that comes in a cone... chill at the beach... and....

Yea, you heard me rite. I can't say it's a sand castle building competition becos everyone is building cars or MINI related stuffs.. Looking at the adults playing in the sand was not hilarious, but inspiring. They came up with some really good stuffs.

Ehhh... there was a slight shower earlier and the sand is slightly damp. So, I saluate to those who participated! ME? I told you I was MINI ME. So.... I am happy to be the photographer, slack around and do nothing. HAhahhahaa

The first prize goes to.... the MINI KEY RING!!! Aint it cool? I like it!

Following that... it took us almost 2 hours to get back to the city. Had to rush to WOMAD to watch the Finale where they'll do All-Star jam!

The rain was pouring but no one bothered. Everyone was dancing, ehhh.... I should say moving on their spot (cos it was so cramp) in the rain! The rain is our rythem!!! Let the rain falls and wash away our sweat! Hahahahha

Oh... no one believes that Wicked Aura is from Sg!!! Hahahaha... we are capable of producing just any kind of talent! woooHoooo!!! Wat a day!

WOMAD 06 was a 3 day event.

Seow Yee and Sarah came over = more outings = more laughter = more fun = more life! Entrance fee for a basic pass per day was around $90+. But Kenny and I got VIP tickets from Seow Yee WOooHooooO!!! We'll be there for 3 days in a row and we got lotsa recommendations on which are the MUST SEE acts!

I got to eat at my favourite Vietnamese restaurant!!! Wahahahaha... and.. while I was having my dinner, Summer called me to give me a huge surprise. She went to Taipei! OMG! My sis went there without me!!! But, she is forgiven becos... i am going to get lotsa goodies from her! Wahahhaha :)

There were so much to watched...... My favourite from the friday's performance (yesterday) was Dream Machine. So dreamy... just exactly what I needed after one day's of work. Best part is that we have 2 very knowlegdgeable "tour guides" to give us lotsa information on the artists.. their acts... the event... etc *2 thumbs UP*

MMMm...wine, music and performance. I am at peace! This long weekend begins with such a beautiful friday nite! Couldn't ask for more... ...

My disaster for the week was... I dropped my camera! It came apart! Thank god that I got it fixed... I am extra careful with it now and, I have made it a point to strap it on my neck! Dianrong was teasing me with lots of negative stuffs like my camera will not be fixed and stuffs... but... WHAHHAHhA DIANRONG! YOU ARE SO WRONG!!

Ok... Kenny finally wants to show his face. He finally got tired of being my photographer! WAhahahha.... LOOK! There were lots of tentages!!! This is beautiful... very dreamy again! Little bit like indi kind... which is what I LIKE!!!

I bought a weird hat made by something like coconut husk, a KIMONO and ate lotsa curries!!!

Once a growing girl, forever a growing girl with a huge appetite. SSShhhh I just went supper with Seow Yee and Kenny. Shhhhhhh.... need to turn in now for a huge day tml!!! Mini Convoy!!!

eee - HAPPY 21ST BIRTHDAY MARISSA - eee

Last sat, Marissa pre-celebrated her 21st. She asked all of us to dress well because we are going to Volka Bar, somewhere that I have never been before. But it was a "bloody" day for me... so I have no mood to dress up. I just wana curl up in bed and rest. After I managed to completely tame my hair for 30 mins, I gave up the dressing up part.

The ever beautiful Xiaolin. The always up to mischeif birthday girl. Ehhhh.... for me.... I discovered that... I NEED A *FLORAL TIARA* to complete the look!!!

The whole nite was all over the place. I was late, so I can't get into Volka Bar. My apologies babe! Din know they were that famous.... The gang went from Volka Bar to.... Tonic. Walked to Elysium just to cut cake and marched back to Tonic. Everyone was confused because our dearest Birthday Girl is so wasted. We dunno if we should laugh or cry. HAhhahahaha... Before we starting clubbing... I'll rate her as 75% gone. OMG.

I am so glad that Xiaolin is with me for the whole nite!!! Cos... I dunno anyone else other than her! She din even danced! We kept talking. Ermm more like screaming, because the place was bombared with loud music. WAhahahhaha...

Okie dokie... time to rest... :) beauty sleep. sleep to be a beauty. sleeping beauty.
