This entry has been pulling on my heartstrings.

I often have a burning zeal about my "latest issue". Every so often a comment comes along, that really makes me, STOP... ... and... ... THINK. Sometimes that makes me wonder where have all my passion gone to?!!! How much faith do I have in myself, and the mighty buddha above?

Although, whatever has been said was disturbing, but reality is always harsh. All the more, I should'nt wait for reality to hit me, then regret not improving or realising the situation earlier, isnt it? Choices. Choices. Choices. Decisions. Decisions. Should I choose to trust my own judgement, or somebody else's?

My primary teacher used to scream at the class, "you chose to copy your friend's answers, how do you know she is right and you are wrong?" As a grown up, I don't always get to mark my own answers (decisions) against a set of "model answers".

In school, a credit is considered as a pass. A distinction is an outstanding pass. But in life, there is no such thing as a distinction/credit in your decision(s) made. Even if there is, no one would be able to tell you that, because... ... life is full of uncertainties. Ambiguity marres visions... ... that is why there is always opportunity cost(s) involved.

Neither is there a second chance. You don't get to "re-sit" certain stages. Nor, is there a clear cut between a right to a wrong answer.

Lately, my Life is more like WRESTLING, than dancing.

May has always been a huge month for me. This year, I have my Graduate Group Presentation, Mother's Day, Ah ma aka Shirlene's birthday and most importantly, my sis turns 21!!!

OMG. OMG. OMG.

Therefore, this rant is specially dedicated to my sweet sister... *SUMMER!

21 is a great age to be because you have finally got your KEY to FREEDOM!!! (But that's not a good thing to mum thou)

YES... I AM SOoooooooooooo BUSY. But, being a Gen Y-er, I have a life too! I always strive to ** ~strike a balance between work and life.

Monday I meet up with REI. She is my make-up guru and yes, Japanese girls are well-known for their wonders with cosmestics. I can close my eyes when she do my make-up for me. See, this is how much I trust her! Also, she is the only one who didn't mind to listen to my retarded-japanese-language.

Seriously, each time I see her... ... I'll feel so ashamed of myself. She looks so perfect everyday, anytime, everywhere.

My brows are so untidy, because they do eye brows waxing here, which is so PAINFUL! Unless I really have to, else I'll hold on to it. So... ...she laughed at my CATERPILLAR brows. *SObz... in the past she'll tame it for me. But she did not have her tools that day so, I went to look for my beautician yesterday, to fix my brows!

Also, I finally tried the Oxygen Therapy Facial!!! Very soothing, calming and relaxed! Did not even realised how that 1 hour passed! I think Ah ma get me started into being VAIN with all her make up and skin care post!

Oh yes... REI recommended me some cool stuffs for this winter season! I love my PINK lipstick!! It looks so yummy and the casing is so pretty! Rei says she use it as a mirror. I was going WAHHHHHH... all the way when she showed me her beauty secrets... gonna meet her more often!

After I have my V3x... ... I love taking photos! Lotsa photos! I wonder how long would this inspiration of crazy-photo-taking hobby last. This is my wednesday's evening dinner! The word "tired" is written ALL OVER MY FACE.

I gonna show you something that is a little... ... erm... disgusting. It is the Detox Food Patches that I've used.

Please do not look below if you are eating.

There are indeed many ways to detox. Actually, coming up and sticking to a detox diet plan can be a hassle for many of us. Dawn mentioned about the fastest way to detox; which is fasting, the easiest way to detox; drinking only fruit juices. But, this two methods will NEVER work on me. I need Food. MMMmmmm FOOD. So, that is why in my last post on DETOX, I directed you to links that guides you on what to eat during your detox period.

Hmmm... I feel that my short detox period has taught me how to eat vegetables and fruits! IF you know me well, you wouldnt be suprised to know how much I love meat. I am a 100% CARNIVORE. But now, I m OK with fruits and veg. Although, I am still pretty picky on veg, at least I am making an effort to eat them now. :) WAY TO GO!!!

I tried using a Detox Foot Patch on the nite before...

OMG. SO BLACK. The toxins in my body transformed white patches to YUCKie BLACKie!!!! EEEEEEEEE!!! I am poisonous!!! Hahahha

FOR YOUR INFOR, It is believed in Eastern Medical Study that toxins go downwards in the body and accumulate from tips of the toes to the ankles and that aging comes from the foot.

WAT? I know, I know.... this is what they said... because they believe that the feet is considered as important as a "second heart" and if you know what accupunture is, you would have learnt that there are 62 accupunture points on the foot, each relating to a different organ in the body. So, that is why these patches are invented!

It is also recommended to:-

• Apply patches to acupuncture points on the foot where; Ball of the foot for upper third of the body; Arch for middle third of the body; Heel for lower third of the body


• Use it three days in a row - they will become drier (less black) with repeated use on consecutive nights


• drink good quality water when using foot patches to help flush toxins through the body


• put it on for 8 to 12 hours - best done before you go to bed & remove it in the morning.

Forgot to tell you the most important information, the name of the foot patches is.. "BioHeel & Chi Foot Patches". Go grab it from a pharmacy.

No harm trying cos, it doesn't hurt like accuputure/ foot reflex. But, after using it... I realised that I go to the toilet more often.

Thursday Nite is SUBURB NIGHT! I'm too lazy to fix dinner after work. So, DINNER is out in the SUBURB!!! This also gives me the chance to test my V3x Camera Function! Wahahahha It is only 2 megapixels. But, it still looks pretty good to me. *YEY!

I had Vietnamese Food for dinner. When I saw that Sliver Coffee Filter, I went... ... HURRHHH??? I use a coffee plunger to make coffee... but this Filter... errmm... was it because of the fact that I was born in a big city... so, little things like this interest me? Or am I too... ermm "mountain tortise"... ?

I guessed technology has became such an important part of our lives. In fact, a part that we can't live without. It just phrase out lots of useful conventional tools. Like that Silver Coffee Filter. Today, you will still be able to find them in Vietnam or in some Vietnamese Restaurant.

Sometimes, I wonder if TECHNOLOGY is a friend, or a foe. Say, the spell check function in MS WORDS. HEY! I am a big fan of it and I rely on it too! But as you become more and more dependent on it, you stop using the dictionary, you stop spelling words yourself, and do you realised that your spelling is plunging?

Precisely, that is what I am trying to say.

I perceived technology as a double edged sword with an Up side and a Down side. The Up side is of course the benefits that it brings us. Eg, they ease our daily lives. The Down side is the capabilities and skills that are lost, due to prolonged period in relying on technology. So, BEWARE!

Today is the official day where I bid my dearest Nokia 7600 farewell.

Hahahaha... I know I sound funny. I am a very sentimental person and I get attached to my belongings easily. So, I think I love this phone, as much as I hated it. I know... I know.. it is just a phone anyway.

Before I forgot... let me tell you something important in case you are doing Detox like me. PLEASE... do NOT eat oily stuffs immediately. I had KFC and MAC on the day after the end of my Detox diet (yesterday) and this morning... my stomach was tumbling up and down like the washing machine.... I even ran to the toilet a few times and.. yes, I chucked out as well. Sorry to say that.

I learnt the hard way, so make sure you do not allow this to happen to you. Since I had NOT have a drip of oil for the week... I should have gone easy on my stomach for the next few days... I thought 5 days of non-oil diet is not a lot so... I rewarded myself with some ermmmmmm oily food for finally learning how to eat green stuffs.... sssshhhhHHh.

So tonite, I made Sushi for dinner! That should be alright for my stomach!

NAh... i am kidding you. The greeny paste is crushed avocado with crab meat. Though, it does not look interesting, at least... it does not give me trouble later. :) I miss fish balls and fish cakes.. so I put lotsa them in my Miso soup. HHAhahaha a leopard never change its spots.

I reckon I would'nt have fabulous enteries for this and next weekend. But, that does'nt mean my life is going downhill. HAHahha Only said that because I have got some part time work to do. Which is good. I thought that was a change from my usual routine, so I took it on board! Else, I'll be rotting away, anyway.

I gonna be a MYSTERY SHOPPER! Sounds good eh? My friend Elin, who works in a Marketing Research firm got me the deal. They need people in Aussie to complete a questionaire after visiting selected stores. OK, I can't divulge any further... *Zzzziiippppped... HAhhaha...

For today, I went to the 2 FURTHEREST STORE that are away from the city.

Look! How big Aussie Land is!!! Actually, it appears more like I am cruising, than having a task on hand!

If I use public transport, I WILL CRY. I'll have to take a bus, then take the tram, take a bus again and I still have to do a good 20 minutes walk to the first location. Not forgetting, bus intervals are so irregular on the weekends! (So, Elin you see... we do deserve the transport fee. hahahaha)

As I am still not familar with the roads here... going somewhere, that far, requires some route planning which includes map reading. You all know how goooooood a map reader I am... *sigh... but, HEY! I have improved a lot! In fact, I am a much better navigator now. HAhhaha

In the past, my friends used to say, "You can't drive. You can't read map. You can't navigate. You can't remember routes. OMG!!!" Yes... I do get on their nerves! Prince Gan hates me for that too. I have recognised my flaws long ago.

But they all forgotten... I can ENTERTAIN them with my hilarous personality. HAhhahaha... So, to all the kids out there... when your geography teacher teaches you map reading.. YOU BETTER LEARN!

Now that I can drive, it doesn't please them much because, I am not driving much - I don't like to drive other people's car and that includes... my company car! Too stressful. As the journey is long.. my mind wanders... ...

*Life is like *driving to a destination.

Before we get to our destination, there are tempations (mac drive-thru to get some food), there are road humps that stops us for a while, there are pot holes that makes our journey uncomfortable, there are horrible drivers that drives blindly... etc. Similarly, in life we are exposed to lots of temptations, dissapointments that makes us hang in the air, some sad scences or bad experiences that makes us feel like burying our heads in a hole, nasty people that keep creating trouble..etc

A cabby uncle once told me that out of 10 of his passengers, 8 of them would hurry him to drive faster because they are running late. On one hand... he knows he needs to speed because of his passenger or, his job. On the other hand...we are all aware of the consequences of speeding or disobeying traffic rules and HE is the one who will face all the consequences, not the passenger.

In other words, he was trying to tell me that we are responsible for all the decisions that we make. So, it appears to me that DRIVING relates to Life a lot.

Early in the morning, I peeped at the last drawer, under my table, in the office.

TEMPTATIONS!!! TEMPTATIONS!!! That is just part of the junks that I've got. Glad that today marks the last day on my Detox Diet!!! So, regardless of whatever happens... ... I'll survive! Just then, Geraldine pop by at my pod to show me her "fresh new face".

OMG.

I was tongue-tied. (Forgot to tell you that both of us visit the same beauty palour)

She did NOT wear any makeup but there was this sheen of natural blush and this radiance glowing on her face. When she smiled at me, there was this aura of happiness. Seriously, when you look good, u feel GREAT man.

So, I went speechless for the next 5 minutes or so, as she rant happily about her Omnilux Therapy Facial. GOSH! It took me so long to finally woke up from her great skin! *Money Well Spent*

I also got to know that... ... my beautician told her that I am pretty!!! Ermmmm... if I was pretty before I met her, can I assume that I'll be prettier under her hands? Oh sorry... if only I am beautiful enough, than perhaps I won't be dreaming of being gorgeous at all. *Geeezzzzz

Geraldine & I started off as colleagues. But we hit off pretty well. Soon, we started to tell each other lotsa personal stuffs. Believe me, every girl has got her own beauty secrets. Not everyone is truthful, or generous enough to share it with you. But, I have to say I have been very fortunate because I do have a few girlfriends who will bare their darkest beauty tips with me!!! To all my friends out there.... I HEART ALL OF YOU!

To mark the completion of my Detox Program, I had dinner at Sushi Train!!! After 5 days of NO oil diet, I don't want to stress my stomach too much! Hahahaha... Then, I went to Toys R' Us!!!!

Did you know that Tamagotchi is BACK? The older versions cost around $4 whereas, the latest "connection" series cost around $15. I used to own one of the older version, but now I want to get the lastest one!!! I think it is so cool to have one! Also, I was'nt aware that CRAZY FROG is so popular till... it has got its own toys!!! Yes.. I am refering to that crazy frog, with crazy tunes, that you can use as your ringing tones. :)

Enough of toys. I go shopping for my NEW TOY today! I have been wanting to buy a new phone for ages!!! But, I am the kind that unless the current one breaks down, than I'll get a new one to replace it. However... my Nokia 7600 really piss me off whenever I text someone! It gives me lotsa problems when I go to parties too! I need both of my hands to press the key pad, else... ... I would'nt be able to send a message!

Why I got it in the first place? *Sigh... because I am a die-hard Nokia fan and 2 years ago there wasn't much 3G Nokia phones. But this time... I opt for the PINK MOTOROLA RAZR V3x!!! I wanted to get a PINK phone for so long but, I need a 3G phone so... I WAITED FOR THIS!!! :)

Detox DAY 3 was full of temptations. **#$$x/%Y**// (it's ok, 2 more days)

My office had Morning tea and there were lotsa good food. I actually have to turn away from the food. I feel like stabbing myself again. Of so many days... why do they want to pick today to have morning tea? I want PORK. I want Chicken. I want BIG PRAWNS. I want BIG FISH. *stomach growling*

4. Last book you read? - Does magazines count? It is a shame to say that apart from textbooks, i pretty much don't get to survive to the last page of a book - This shows how "knowledgeable" I am. :)

5. All time favourite movie? Nothing in particular, just give me some crappy comedy to make me laugh.

6. What 3 things would you take with you on a deserted Island? -The one that I love (tat means strength to me), my brains and the knowledge to survive

7. If you could be anyone in the world who would you be? - MYSELF. I am contented to be who I am.even though, I know I can be dumb at times. Anyway, you won't like to see me "destroying" someone else.

DAY 2 into DETOX.

I have been good.

Trying very hard to resist from the abundance supply of chocolates and snacks in my drawer. Temptations!!! I feel like stabbing myself. What on earth is happening to my brains? Are they functioning? Knowing that I want to do Detox thingy and they still allowed me to get chocolates?!!!

Absolute nutcase.

Acting a bit weird because of the lack of Cocoa! HAhahahah... Nah, I am just pretty stressed with my assignment, that's all. But, I'll get there!

I know. I know. My sisters will be mocking at my pictures. But seriously it took me less than 5 seconds to get that done. The exact emotions that are churning in me. The weird me.

3 more days to go... ... why on earth do I want to detox? Don't worry, I'll keep whining to relieve my aching agony without chocolates! For the next 3 days... u'll get COMPLAINT QUEEN!!! (Hope that does not deter you from reading my blog)

For most of my friends in sg... 1st May is a public holiday. But for us here... we are slogging away. WAIT, that's not for me because, I've got sick leave!

So, I kinda have my Labour Day too! What a true singaporean.... ...

But... I think boredom will just kill me at home. Stay in the house will make me more sick! So, I decided! I have to get out of the house even if I am supposed to rest at home! But as you know, my office is located in the City. So, I had to disguised myself, don't want to be recognised by anyone, especially by my colleagues!

So, I wore my Poorboy cap. Sorry, I meant my Newsboy cap. HAhhaa Freak not, I did NOT leave the house with my shades on. Geeesss! I look more like a panda in that! I got that pair of shades as a gift from LIVE! store at their opening (cos I bought that fury cardigian). So, that answers why it does'nt really suit me.

Being the first day of my Detox Program.. I had Green Bean Soup for breakfast. Presenting, my dinner!!! Stir-fry veggies & grilled fish wrap!
