I went to look for Rei and thank goodness she was able to see me! She is the one that got me started to collect a range of Channel Makeup products and now, she supports my hidden admiration for YSL.

I have a very special bonding with this brand because, my mum gave me a chinese name that starts with "Y". My english name starts with "S" and... my mum's surname begins with "L"... I know it sounds crap to you. It is OK. I am FULL OF CRAP. *Grins

When I was 18 she gave me a black YSL tank top, which I am still madly in love with. She also gave me a YSL Mascara and I thought gold was a nice colour to carry around in my bag! HAhahha... but I never really got to know YSL products until Rei introduced them to me - she is my make up guru and she knows it all from A to Z when it comes to cosmetics.

Since I am feeling yucky... she gave my face a complete change! 360 degrees is what I would say!

How is it? My face has this dewy complexion that I was dying for! I am not adventurous to play with colours on my face. In fact, I rarely apply eye shadows and guess what... ... under Rei's encouragement, I bought green and yellow eye shadow today! The colours of Australia! *LOL!

What a tremendous change in makeup! She also discovered that I like to buy nice stuffs and keep them, because I can't bear to use them! Pretty silly, but that is me. So, I promised her... I WILL USE THEM! NOT SAVE THEM! Hahaha... You heard me rite, Rei!

*yawns... time for dreaming!

Although, it's only Thursday, but I felt as though I am done with this week, done with this department.

As I was shadowing over someone who is going on maternity leave, I had to handover everything to the new person and I had been doing that for the past 2 weeks. This new person, is a tough nut to crack and she perceived that I am her assistant, just because I was shadowing the person that she is replacing.

Oh well, I am leaving. Leaving her area for good. For a new experience. In fact, I have left but she is holding onto me and that frustrates me.

Hmmmmm all because of emotional unbalance.

You know, there are some days where everything will go smoothly (which is quite rare) and days that everything just go wrong (more likely)... and today is just one of those days where I would claim... .... Just not my day!

• The end of financial year (30 June) made everyone go bananas.


• The organisation reform, restuctures the whole organisation, causing much fear and anxiety (with effect from 1 July 06)


• My manager held a sudden meeting to announced that he is leaving the organisation.
  


• The next steps of my Graduate Program was kinda being affected because of the restucture.


• The person whom I looked up to is moving to another department.

As if the above ain't enough to shake my grounds... ...

• My stomach cramps was so painful that I couldn't concentrate on work.

To top if of... ... as I was on my way home, the heel of my shoe got stucked in the expansion joints of two concrete tiles on the pathway. So I started yanking my foot like mad and I supposed I must have looked like an idoit. You know what... when I finally managed to pull it off, the horrible gap ripped off a whole bunch of the leather on my heel!!!!

That was pretty upsetting. Why can't it happen to a pair of less expensive or less favourite shoes? But why, why the super comfy, favourite and expensive one?!!!

Am I running low on good luck, or what?

Hey! My laptop is ALIVE and KICKING again! You know what, it has been a good few weeks, since I last posted something, so I pretty much don't know where to start now.

One thing for sure, my laptop is great - apart from having to reinstall all my softwares. Oh yes, I have done well for my test! *Whooopeedooodaadaaa!!!!! I have been doing a lot of shopping(!!) as well. Sigh.... ... I AM HOPELESS. I guessed, somebody needs to lock me up in my room and cut my cards. I have been doing damage, damage and more damage! But, somewhere in my head, I think whatever that I have invested, are good bargains.... .... no?

Just to whet you appetite since I haven't been blogging lately.....

YES PORK PIES!!! I found them at a supermarket as I was going home today!

When the AFL league gets warmer, my aussie friends were planning to introduce me to the Great OZ Spirit! ** Meat pies + Beer + Footie. ** Meat pies always come in Beef and I can't eat beef so they felt pretty upset as they did'nt know where to get Pork Pies for me.

I told them chicken pies will do, but they think that is CHEATING! Oh well... Pork pies not cheating?

Anyway, I've found them! Oh man I am such a lucky girl! Simple things like this will make my day :) But... the large pies looks a little scary to me though... ... Question is... do I really have to poke a hole and squeeze tomatoe sauce in the middle?

I finally got my group's presentation photos off my facilitator! The sad thing is... I don't have very many because, the photos were posted on the Graduates Weblog and I can't ripped them off easily :( I can't direct you to my Weblog either, as it was hosted within my organisation's intranet.

24 May 06 - Graduates Group Presentation in the organisation!!!

I couldn't sleep well for most of the night. Kept tossing and turning because of nerves... and I realised that I was'nt the only one!!! You bet I felt so good as this chapter closes. One load off my chest! BYE-BYE stressful team meetings!

Although, lotsa drama have taken place... ... but, we still love each other. Like what Donald Trump says, "It is all about work. Nothing personal at the end of the day".

Now, it's *pictures delight!!!

My team was such a diverse group of 13 fresh graduates. The group's dynamics consist of people from different acadamic and cultural backgrounds combined with a few big personalities. Moreover, I think my organisation has selected the smarties from the different UNIs (discovered that we all do look pretty good on paper during interactions)... so, I supposed that is where all the friction begins because, everyone has their own perspective and the way we work is just, different.

We had a short interval for Morning Tea after my group has presented. For us, we felt so relieve whereas, the rest were still shaking away! Yey! So, we RUB IT IN!!!

I guessed, Multi-Media isn't cool anymore. We say "Rich Media" today where they said Multi-media in the 90s. You would never imagine how fantastic Group 3's presentation was. They incorporated wonders of Technology... the is the first time ever that I saw such an interesting presentation for a... .... errrrmmmmmm... rather boring topic.

Whoever who says bookworms have no life, you are so wrong! The other graduates rock too!

* My facilitator commented that my team is going to be famous because, the research was so well done that some managers actually requested it from her!!! WOooHOOOO!!!! Sounds great! *

I enjoyed working with my partner a lot! We did the research for the topic and I never got to chat with him apart from that day's lunch! All along we had been talking about work! Dedicated, aren't we?

He is nice. He intends to bring his wife to China (his homeland) at the end of the year and I told him I am interested to go to China at the end of the year too. So he offered to bring me and my friends along or... get his friends to show me around!

Tots of the day: I felt really honored to have earned a seat in the pilot batch of my organisation's graduates program. There were happy days. Of cos there were yucky ones as well. Overall, I enjoyed the learning journey & the opportunities presented... certainly looking forward to the so-called-test for that unit of studies!

Ultra Mega Fabulously Busy!

Yey! You heard me right! Pretty joyful in the midst of having a bit of a hectic time because it is the END of FINANCIAL YEAR. The whole organisation went crazy. I am no better because I am picking up some work from someone in my team who is going off on maternity leave.

But, this week is a significant one. Mainly because the organisation's re-structure takes effect as of thursday. So, we had drinks in the office + next week I will be moving into another department for a different experience + we need to clear our desk for the once in 3 mths desk cleaning exercise!!! Desk that are occupied with belongings will not be cleaned by the cleaners.

I went.. WOW.

Do you get that as well?

Having worked for the whole crazy week, I thought of giving myself a *treat after I got my pay yesterday. But I ended up getting quite a bit of stuffs because of the End-of-financial year sale. The problem is... ... I ended up buying things that are not on sale most of the time. :(

Just like these... ... I only intend to have-a-bit-of-a-browse at the Nine West Boutique..... and the red ones caught my eye!

The sad thing is... Red is pretty hard to match with my wardrobe of pastels... and it doesn't really look good on my feet either. So... I walked away with the purple pair! Equally happy! Will bring it with me wherever I travel!!! I love it!

OK. Tonite, I shall declare that.... ** THIS WEEK IS THE END OF MY SO CALLED WINTER SHOPPING. Three more months to Spring. I LOVE SPRING! **

**Gonna get my hair trimmed on sat! Winter means less activities... means can spend more on personal grooming. SShh...

2 degrees in the city! OMG.... My hands were freezing... so are my legs!

My 6th sense/instinct... tells me that my parcel would arrive today so, I knocked off earlier to go home! Guess what... ... my 6th sense did not fail on me! *Grins.. hahaha..

My sis went Taipei a few months ago and I asked her to do some shopping for me! A pair of white boots is a MUST along with a few other stuffs that I wanted... so my mum sent it over for me. You bet.... I AM SO SO SO SO SO Happy!

When I got it... I'm like a little girl trying on her mum's heels... using the corridor as a runway, parading in front of the mirror... hopping around with all smiles!

This is the LOVE that warms my WINTER! (My family + the boots)

If you do not have any boots and you wana get ONLY one, because of Winter. Get a pair of black boots! It is very versatile... it'll carry you from the dunno-wat-crap-u-are-wearing days to glamourous-party-nites! In turn for that, of cos you'll have to bear with whatever pain it brings (if you get those with Killer heels). *Giggles

I adore boots that are just slightly below the knee... ...

So now, I have a pair of White Boots & a pair of Ugg Boots! - Very Happy. Well Done Summer!

Weekends are never enough. I am still feeling tired from my weekdays and I start to wonder... how did I spend my time?

Did I tell you that... ... as of 1st June, WINTER is IN, _{Autumn is OUT!!!} So... it does'nt matter how good your outfit is, because you'll all be wrapped up like a dumpling in ur coat. Hahaha

Here's my PINKY COAT that all my colleagues adores! Looks a lot better in reality, thou.

Sobzzzz... ... I have terminated my Fitness Membership at Next Generation :( because I am not as frequent as I was. Most importantly, 1 year of membership fee is worth 1 week's stay in Fuji!!! So... better spend it wisely.

I know... I know... I need to obey my RULES for 2006 that are set out earlier.... MUST lead a HEALTHY LIFESTYLE. Since I have given up my fitness membership... ... I am taking up GOLF soon. Heeeeeeeee... so, I went to check out the Golf course before I start *SWINGING!

Weekends are meant to clear up some chores too... ... my very first Machine-Happy-Wash in OZ! la... la... la...

Just when I thought I was "safe" for the day. I passed Sportsgirl and I could'nt refrain myself from getting this charm that I have been eyeing, for ages... ...

Alrite... it will also serve as a reminder for me, because I need to save up to go PARIS when CJ is still in France!!! Talking about savings... ... erm.... I actually spent a lot this weekend... ... bought more stuffs to keep myself busy at home as Winter makes me lazy to get out of the house.

Last week... I got these!!!

Here's wat I have done with whatever I have at home! I changed the Pink furs to White lace for my dump-it-all-in box because the pink furs are getting dusty.

Oh well, I admit I am untidy. That's because I have a lot of things. A lot of things lying around, but NOT DIRTY. Never DIRTY. Since I want to revamp my humble retreat from a little girl's room to a lady's room... being ORGANISED is a MUST.

The way I decorate is influenced by the way I dressed. Hmmm.... A mixture of everything! Old and New.. funky and feminine!

Halfway thru the packing, I got bored and I started playing the guitar instead... ...

So, you see... it will take me forever to pack n unpack even though I should be a pro after so many packing experience. That's why I think this revamping exercise will take me some time to complete. Will show you how my room looks like after the revamp! :)
