Yes I know my posts have been fairly sparse despite the recovery of my laptop. Weeks have been flying by and it seems like I don't even have time to exhale.

There are only 2 possibilities, when I am not updating. Either, I have nothing to write (which is so totally NOT the case) OR there's too much to write but I have so little time, which is probably the latter.

Lately, I had a serious relationship, yes I mean dead SERIOUS with my un-put-down-able book that suck me into the story so much that I lost sense of day and night. There was also this not-so-interesting book that was so disappointing. Such a waste of money. *hit chest*

Ok, that is one - for not blogging.

All the parties! Shopping! Coffee sessions! Keeping me so so busy!!! But I am quite glad even though I am so so wear out, because it just shows that I have friends! *LOLs*

WAIT. I haven't finished... how can I not winch about work since it is the main reason for neglecting my virtual life?!!! HAHAHA read on... ...

Life has been a drama since my manager left. But I am glad that I have a new manager now. She is more focused and strategic. Most importantly, she gives me the support that I need. In turn, she demands efficiency, no bullshit and perfection.

To add on, since the Graduate Program is a unique experience in the workplace, I was on rotation again. I am now working on feasibility studies, research on new development ideas and reporting... ...writing board papers... ... so I get to see chunks and chunks of w-o-r-d-s e.v.e.r.y.d.a.y till I can get nightmare of alphabets chasing after me!!!!

You know, research was never my cup of tea. But it seems like I have enjoying it now. WAH... this just showed you how adaptable humans are. But than again, I am still at the very initial stage, maybe it is just too early to tell, hur? *shameless laughs*

Lately, dark clouds has covered my bright skies. Winter has brought howling winds together with thunderstorms in my life. The daily grind is just churning and churning away... ... and everyday seems to be a total waste of make-up.

I am alright. It is just that there are too many uncertainties at work now. I am kinda stucked in between what I really want to do, and what I am doing now. The worst thing is... my Manager is leaving so, he kind of have no time for me.

As I see new letterheads, new fax cover sheets, new logos, new branding, new corporate wear, new colleagues.... it is hard not to realise that the organisation reform has been implemented. Some units can hardly breathe now, because all their projects have been put on hold, until their new "beginning". Whereas some of them are recovering from the End-of-Financial Year stuffs.

This week was the hardest for me, because I see people leaving. Also, I see opportunities coming yet I can't grab them. The key person is away, nothing gets done. I am floating around because my manager has been on sick leave and all the mundane duties made me feel so little and the whinning goes as I tweedle my thumbs... .... ... ... ...

Another Tragic Week

The point that I pulled through the past 4 days into today,

I should be happy on Friday and I will, because I am going to dye my hair! New colour to bring good luck!

As the weather cools down to freezing point... .... I was clubbing on Uni's ground last sat!!!!

I am actually dancing to the full blast of R n B tunes on one of the staircase in Uni! I wondered how much rent did Rapture have to pay, for leasing that area from Uni as an extension for their club. It was hella crowded and super packed... so we had no choice but to move to the dunno-wat room.

I was late and the rest has started drinking without me. HMPH! I am going to forbid all of you from drinking without me!!! Apart from Xiao Lin who was not feeling well, the rest were almost gone. HUR???? 12am and they are all going to sleep?!! What has the world become?

6 months... ... I haven't move to the grooves for half a year!!! PEARLIE I SERIOUSLY NEED YOU BACK... .... they cannot drink. *Grins

*PS: It was 4 degrees when I was waiting to go into the club. I stood at the queue for 20 mins. Jumping and shivering like a mad dog in my white tube. Lesson learnt, never try to be too smart when it comes to winter - you can never underestimate how cold it gets at nite.

By the way... I haven't quite introduce you to my new hair!

It was so bushie during the first 3 weeks _{(this post was supposed to be posted 2 weeks ago when my laptop was down)} and I had to wear cap/ wear hat/ wear hair band/ or blow dry FROM THE CROWN, just to make it FLAT!

It certainly have a lot more flow and layers! So, I like it _{(apart from the bushie bit which makes my face look fat! Or was it because I was eating too much lately?)}

Dinner at SHIKI (the japanese restaurant at the HYATT HOTEL) for some good Tepanyaki! I actually wanted to dress up more, but that saturday was so full on with one event after another... ... by dinner time, I am left with 30 mins to get dressed.

I love the decor and the ambience of the restaurant, where east meets west. I like to dine in places like this, where they take their patrons on a dinning experience - where, the waiters goes "Mdm, the sauce on the left is x and is used to go with y, the sauce in the middle is a and is used to go with b... etc", rather than just serving food.

To prepare us for our the main course, they even had a small pot of soup with a slice of lime, for all of us to cleanse our pallets.

I reckon I had 3 starters and the set that I ordered was supposed to come with 5 dishes, that will be cooked in front of me. The chef was stolked to see me eat so much, that he gave me all the extras! My mai set comes with noodles only, whereas the rest had fried rice... but in actual fact, I had both. *LOLs

OOohhhhhh scary. Sometimes, I wonder how my stomach can fit that much food. Almost double the main course of the others! Food is marvellous! But so harmful for the waistline. Than again... ... I am a big gut girl!

Desert was held at a more relaxed, cozy and quieter section. Pretty romantic. *Grins. This is the first time that I ever had HONEY ICE-CREAM! It was great... vanilla with a twist of honey. Sweet. Yum!

Eat and eat and eat and eat.... and GROW FAT! HAhahha.... Winter is the best excuse to put on weight! Then, everyone start to sweat like mad at the end of spring because soon they discovered that they have those things that are spreading out like pancake batter on a griddle!
